New high power limiter from Linwave Technology November 19, 2014

Linwave Technology has launched new L-band high power limiter LW48-701470 specifically designed to withstand high input power. The limiter is suitable for radar and other military (as well as civil) applications where receiver protection is required.

 

Main features for pulse and CW signals:

  • Frequency band: 900…1300 MHz
  • Insertion loss: < 1.5 dB
  • Return loss: > 15 dB
  • Output power: < 18 dBm
  • Maximum CW input power: 500 W
  • Pulse duration: 1…10 ms
  • Duty cycle: 2.5…20%
  • Maximum input power (for 10 pulses): 1.4 kW
  • Operating temperatures: -10…+50 ºС
  • Sizes (with connectors): 48.0 x 22.0 x 10.7 mm

The principal applications for new limiter are supposed to be radars, cellular base stations, weather radars, navigation systems.
